Dunia Camp
Set in a quiet valley close to the Moru Kopjes, Dunia is a small, welcoming camp right in the heart of the Serengeti. Eight canvas tents, including a family tent, look onto open plains where wildlife moves past throughout the day. The camp is uniquely women run, with warm hosting and easy comforts. Game drives reach Seronera and southern plains, and evenings end with lantern lit dinners and star filled skies, and relaxed fireside boma conversations.

Highlights & Activities.
Unhurried game drives cover Seronera, the southern plains, and the scenic Moru Kopjes, with full day options when migration herds pass through. Guided walks may be available in designated areas, and balloon safaris lift off nearby at sunrise. Between outings, enjoy bush breakfasts, picnic lunches, sundowners, and friendly communal dining, or request a private table. Expect big cats, rhino and leopard sightings in season, plus rewarding birding. Evenings settle into starlit alfresco dinners, stories by the fire, and the easy comfort of canvas life. Photographers can arrange private vehicles for flexibility and long golden hours.
Region information.
Central Serengeti blends rolling grasslands, acacia woodland, and granite kopjes, with the Great Migration passing nearby at different times of year. Calving peaks to the south from December to March, herds push through central areas in April and May, and river country to the northwest and north holds them mid-year before they return with the short rains. Predators are plentiful and birding strong. National park rules limit off road and night activities, preserving a natural rhythm, while sunrise ballooning operates in designated zones. Photography is excellent year-round for action and portraits.
