Travel is personal. At NOMARA, we craft journeys that slow the pace, deepen connection, and reveal Africa’s wild beauty with comfort and care. Every itinerary is designed around you, paired with handpicked camps, thoughtful hosts, and moments you will talk about for years.

Our Story

Before NOMARA, James completed a Cape to Cairo journey by Land Cruiser along the East African Water Route, a year on the road across eleven countries that deepened his love for the continent. Some years later, James met Craig in Cape Town. They quickly bonded over creating remarkable experiences and a shared passion for Africa’s landscapes, wildlife, and cultures.

Life placed them in different places for a while. James moved to the Lowveld near Kruger to develop a luxury tented camp, and Craig settled in Prague with his family. They stayed close and kept planning, then came together with a simple aim, to share the very best of Africa in a way that feels effortless, personal, and deeply authentic. NOMARA was born.

How we work

We listen first, then shape a journey that reflects your pace and passions. Private guides, seamless logistics, and beautifully placed lodges and camps set the scene. Along the way, you meet people who bring each landscape to life, from trackers and storytellers to chefs who celebrate local ingredients in memorable alfresco settings.

Respect for wildlife, support for communities, and travel that leaves places better than we found them. This is the promise behind every itinerary, planned with care from your first conversation to your journey home.

Ready when you are. Let’s begin your story with NOMARA.
