When is the best time to visit?

It is rewarding all year. Calving is typically January to March on the southern plains; May to June suits the Western Corridor and Grumeti; July to October focuses on the northern Serengeti and Mara River.

Can I do night drives in the Serengeti?

Night drives are not permitted inside the national park. They are available in select private concessions that border the park, such as the area used by Klein’s Camp.
