Giraffe Manor
Set on 140 acres of indigenous forest in Nairobi’s Langata suburb, Giraffe Manor is a 1932 stately home turned boutique hotel, home to endangered Rothschild’s giraffes. Twelve rooms split between the historic Manor and Garden Manor; some with family layouts. Classic interiors, Wi-Fi and inclusive laundry meet a whimsical wildlife experience: giraffes often join breakfast and high tea at the windows and terrace. Convenient access from JKIA and Wilson simplifies arrivals and departures for guests.

Meet and feed the rare Rothschild’s giraffes at breakfast and during afternoon high tea (from 5 pm). Stroll next door to the AFEW Giraffe Centre or unwind with spa treatments in the garden room. Add Nairobi National Park game drives, the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust elephant nursery visit, and the Karen Blixen Museum. Explore the manor’s lawns and sanctuary paths, enjoy private dining and hosted teas, and relax with Wi-Fi and included laundry. Transfers from JKIA and Wilson can be arranged to suit your onward safari plans. Children are warmly welcomed.

The city hosts the world’s only national park inside a capital: Nairobi National Park, a short drive away, with four of the Big Five. Nearby, visit the AFEW Giraffe Centre, David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust elephant nursery, and Karen Blixen Museum. Typical transfer times: Wilson Airport ~30 minutes; Jomo Kenyatta International 40–90 minutes depending on traffic. The manor closes mid-April to mid-May.
