Region information.

Mana Pools National Park (≈2,196 km²) forms part of the UNESCO-listed Mana Pools–Sapi–Chewore site on the Zambezi floodplain. Expect elephants, buffalo, hippo, predators and rich birdlife. As a national park, activities follow rules: no off-road driving; daytime drives on set roads, with canoeing and guided walking a hallmark. Nyamatusi Mahogany sits on the river, reached by flights to Mana Main Airstrip and a ~40-minute game-drive transfer. Across the river, Zambia’s Lower Zambezi National Park completes an unfenced ecosystem. Dry months concentrate wildlife; emerald season brings lush, atmospheric skies and dramatic sunsets.
