Raised above the Sabie River in Lion Sands’ private concession inside Kruger National Park, Tinyeleti (“many stars”) is an exclusive, open-air treehouse for guests of Tinga or Narina. The two-level, solar-powered hideaway sleeps two adults and two children, with a rain shower, double vanity and WC, radio contact and double safety doors. Arrive at sunset by safari vehicle for a gourmet picnic, lantern-lit stargazing and a dawn wake-up as the riverine bush comes alive.

Transfer by safari vehicle from Tinga or Narina and settle in before sunset. Sip sundowners and enjoy a gourmet picnic as elephants, hippo and antelope pass below at a safe distance. Lanterns glow while you stargaze; solar lighting, USB charging, radio contact and double safety doors keep comfort high. The deck includes a rain shower, double vanity and WC. Fall asleep to night sounds and wake for sunrise coffee; rejoin your guide in the morning for game drives, walks or a creative stop at the Lion Sands photo lab before heading back.

Region information.

Tinyeleti sits in Lion Sands Game Reserve, a private concession along the Sabie River inside Kruger National Park. The greater Lion Sands reserve protects about 12,400 ha with 10.5 km of exclusive river frontage, delivering year-round Big Five viewing and prolific birdlife. Game drives use exclusive concession roads and follow park regulations. Guests access Tinyeleti from Tinga or Narina by short sunset transfer and return after sunrise. Arrivals are easy via Skukuza Airport (≈15-minute transfer to the lodges), with warm summers and mild, dry winters shaping the safari rhythm.
