Highlights & Activities.

Morning, afternoon and night game drives track elephant, buffalo, lion, leopard and wild dog along marsh and woodland edges. Guided walking safaris with armed guides deepen bush skills; when water levels allow, glide by mokoro for quiet, reed-level sightings. Seasonal birding shines. On three-night stays April–November, enjoy a complimentary 20-minute scenic helicopter flight; cultural tours are available. In camp, relax at the plunge pool, lounge, library bar and boma; private deck dining, bush breakfasts, picnic lunches and sundowners keep things easy, with solar power and in-room charging. Photographers appreciate flexible pacing and generous viewing time.

Region information.

Set within the Linyanti Wildlife Reserve in Botswana’s Chobe Enclave, the Linyanti Marsh forms the region’s lifeblood, often the only reliable dry-season water for many kilometers. The result is remarkable concentrations of elephant and buffalo, plus predators including lion, leopard and African wild dog. Sitatunga, red lechwe, sable and roan add rarity, while birding excels, especially October to April. Private-concession rules allow night drives and guided walking; seasonal mokoro offers water-level perspectives, and optional cultural visits add context. Access is via Linyanti Airstrip with game-drive transfer, or scenic helicopter links from Maun or Kasane.
