Giraffe Manor offers twelve elegant and individually designed rooms split between the original 1930s Manor House and the newer Garden Manor. Each room is uniquely styled to reflect the property’s historic charm, with warm wooden floors, antique furnishings, and large four-poster beds draped in fine linens and mosquito nets. Paned windows open to views of the leafy estate or resident giraffes, some of which may pop their heads in for a morning visit.
In-room amenities include en-suite bathrooms with walk-in showers or soaking tubs, complimentary Wi-Fi, plush bathrobes, organic toiletries, tea and coffee stations, and personal safes. Some suites, such as the Karen Blixen Suite, are ideal for families, offering spacious layouts and interconnecting rooms. Sasaab’s luxurious tented suites blend open-air elegance with comfort and privacy. Each of the nine spacious tents, over 100m² in size, is positioned for maximum seclusion and panoramic views over the Samburu wilderness and Ewaso Nyiro River.
Inside, guests enjoy a king-size bed or twin configuration, large open-plan lounge, writing desk, ceiling fans, and an expansive en-suite bathroom with double vanities and a sunken bathtub.
