Arusha is the gateway to Tanzania’s northern safari circuit, and Legendary Lodge sits just outside town on a tranquil estate. It’s roughly 15 minutes to Arusha Airport and about 90 minutes to Kilimanjaro International, easing arrivals and departures. Day trips reach Arusha National Park and Mount Meru, while Tarangire and Lake Manyara lie about two hours by road (or 25-minute flights); Ngorongoro is around four hours. The area enjoys a warm, temperate climate, with long rains April–May and short rains mid-Nov to mid-Jan—ideal before or after safari. The lodge closes briefly in April.
