Day 1 - 5 - Lake Manyara Tree Lodge, Lake Manyara National Park, Tanzania

  • Nine stilted treehouse suites including 1 interleading family treehouse suite with generous decks suspended above the forest floor and large windows inviting the lush forest inside. Overhead fans and billowing mosquito nets add to your comfort. Bathrooms en-suite have freestanding baths with forest views and outdoor showers.

  • Lake Manyara Tree Lodge is situated in a remote south western part of Lake Manyara National Park offering guests an exclusive interpretive safari in a game-rich part of the park. Known for its diverse ecosystems soda flats and vast flocks of pink flamingoes and tree-climbing lions. Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area offers a high concentration of wildlife in a relatively compact area making sightings relatively easy. It supports one of the highest densities of lions with 60 to 70 individuals. Here the extremely rare eastern black rhino can also be spotted.

Day 5 - 9 - The Highlands, Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Tanzania

  • 8 canvas-and-perspex domed suites, including one family dome and 3 mezzanine domes. Set high on the slopes of Olmoti Volcano and far from any other camp, The Highlands offers views as far as the Serengeti and easy access to the famous Ngorongoro Crater. Each suite has ensuite bathrooms with two indoor showers and double vanities. For chilly evenings, indoor wood-burning stoves makes for real cosy living.

  • The Highlands is an award-winning boutique camp is an architectural marvel perched on the edge of Olmoti Crater's forest. It's close proximity to the Ngorongoro Crater (UNESCO world heritage site) allows for easy excursions into the crater where you can see lion, elephant, black rhino and more in a concentrated area. Numerous other crater adventures can be had such as hikes to the soda lake in Empakaai Crater to see thousands of flamingos or hikes to the rim of Olmoti Crater for astounding views.

  • Location of the camp atop the slopes of Olmoti Crater offers stunning views, game drives in search of the rare Eastern Black Rhino and easy to find prides of lion in the Ngorongoro Crater, hikes to the soda lake in Empakaai Crater to see the soda lakes and thousands of Flamingos, immersive cultural interactions with the local Maasai community.
